I received my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at UW-Madison in the spring of 2013. My graduate research involves designing a cardiac ablation catheter to create tricuspid regurgitation and induce right-heart failure in mice. This model will replicate the pathophysiological features of human valve regurgitation-induced failure and allow further investigation into the molecular pathways involved in this disease.
