Byron A. Zambrano, PhD
Research scientist interested in the development of computational methods to enhance the understanding of cardiovascular diseases. As a master student, Byron developed a profound understanding in numerical methods for the study of fluid flow phenomena. This knowledge led him to join the Cardiovascular Tissue Mechanics Lab at MSU where he applied his numerical modeling experience while gained a strong foundation in computational vascular biomechanics. As a research associate at the Vascular Tissue Biomechanics Laboratory, Byron will be working in the integration of computational simulations and experimental measurements of the right ventricle-pulmonary vascular interaction in health and disease.
