I completed my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Minnesota State University – Mankato in May 2019. My graduate research focuses on the hemodynamics involving large and small pulmonary arterial structure and function in disease states, specifically pulmonary hypertension in small animal and clinical studies. The structural and functional changes associated with the diseased state are reflected in pulmonary vascular impedance, pressure-volume relationships, and hemodynamic coupling to allow for the assessment of ventricular function.
