My Shapiro project focuses on quantifying vascular pathology of the Pbx knockout mouse model for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). I am using micro-CT and imaging software to measure parameters of interest, such as pulmonary arterial volumes. I am also involved with magnetic resonance image analysis of RV and LV volumes for subjects with bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD).
